What is the symbolism of Vajrayogini?

Vajrayogini is a buda in female aspect. Engaging in her practice subjugates attachment, one of the afflictive emotions that keeps us tied to Samsara. She is considered the queen of the dakinis, wisdom females who transform ordinary situations onto the spiritual path. The aim of this spiritual practice is to destroy attachment.
