Chenrezig (tbt.), also known as Avalokitesvara (skt.) and more commonly known as the Buddha of Compassion, is a spiritual figure that embodies love and compassion as fundamental aspects of the mind, reminding us that loving kindness is the essence of our own mind. The name Chenrezing means “The One who looks with unwavering eye”, as he is always attending to the needs of all beings. Chenrezig vowed not to leave this world until all beings, without exception, attain enlightenment.

Boddhicita Prayer: It refers to the state of mind that wishes to attain enlightenment for the sake of all sentient beings.

May the supreme jewel Bodhicitta that has not arisen arise and grow, and may that which has arisen not diminish, but increase more and more.
