How to get here
O Sel Ling is located in the mountains of the Alpujarra of Granada, at 1600 ms. of altitude in the southern face of Sierra Nevada. Built in the foothills of the mountain, the last 6 ascending kilometres to reach the centre are a dirt track that gradually goes upwards.
HOW TO ARRIVE BY BUS
At Granada Bus Station you can buy a ticket at the automatic vending machines, simply enter Pampaneira as your destination.
The price of the ticket is approximately € 7.

Once on the bus, ask the driver to drop you at the Hermitage of The Eternal Father (Ermita del Padre Eterno), which is situated before reaching Pampaneira. O Sel Ling only organizes pick ups from the hermitage for those people who come to do a retreat, either solitary or in group, we can’t offer transportation for visitors.
Please remember to let us know your arrival time so that someone can come down and pick you up by car.
BUS FROM GRANADA AIRPORT:
At Granada airport take the bus that takes you to Granada city centre and get off at the bus station.
AUTOBÚS DESDE EL AEROPUERTO DE GRANADA:
En el aeropuerto de Granada toma el autobús que te lleva hacia Granada ciudad y bájate en la estación de autobuses.
Una vez en la estación de autobuses de Granada, sigue las indicaciones anteriores para llegar a O Sel Ling en autobús.
BY CAR:
By car you can either take the coastal road to Motril or the inland motorway to Granada.
The coastal road is not a motorway and has a lot of bends, but it is quite scenic and has got great sea views. The time difference depends on traffic but on a good day the whole trip to the Alpujarras can take about the same time whichever route you choose.
Málaga – Motril
Follow the coastal road towards Motril but before getting to Motril you will pass a village called Salobreña; just after that there is a turn-off with a sign to Granada. Take this turn- off and at the roundabout follow the road to Granada.
Keep an eye out for the sign to Las Alpujarras or Órgiva on the right; it will be just before a large dam.
You will see a small bridge that crosses a dry riverbed; take this turn-off and follow the winding road around the side of the mountain.
After going through a small tunnel there is a road to the left heading towards Órgiva. Go over the bridge and follow the road up into Órgiva.
Go through the village and as you leave it you will cross another bridge: just after that, look for the sign to Trevélez on the right. Take this turn and drive uphill for about 20 minutes until you see a restaurant on the left called ‘Los Llanos’ (across from the restaurant there is a Mongolian tent with old things for sale outside).
Drive on for a few more curves until you see a small church on the right hand side of the road called ‘Padre Eterno’. Opposite this small church there is a forest road, indicated in Spanish as camino forestal. Turn left onto this road and follow it until you see the sign to O.Sel.Ling on the right hand side. Take this dirt track up following the signs until you get to our car park.
